Arnprior, where the Ottawa River meets the Madawaska, is a four-season vacation destination only 30 minutes from Ottawa, Ontario, and about a five hours drive from Toronto, Ontario. Visitors of this lovely town, located in Renfrew County in the eastern portion of southern Ontario, come to partake in the many activities offered in this region, from whitewater rafting to boating to skiing and snowboarding at nearby Calabogie Peaks Resort in the winter months.

The town features many walking and bike trails, including the majestic Gillies Grove, home to some of the last remaining traces of Old Growth forest in Ontario. Golfers can take in 18-holes at the Arnprior Golf Club and day-trippers will enjoy the beach and picnic areas of Robert Simpson Park or a stroll to the local marina.
