Rural Roots Cafe

The Rural Roots Cafe in downtown Bancroft is awesome! It offers fresh locally grown and raised food. Owner Christa Brownlee offers fresh salads, sandwiches, breads, cookies, muffins, biscotti, pizzas, home made soups, and home made pies, cakes and other delicious desserts. In addition to the regular menu there are daily specials based on the seasonality of a variety of vegetables and fruits.

When I stopped in the other day for some lunch, I was greeted with great customer service, a warm atm… Read moreosphere and even local artwork on the walls. The food was great too and I noticed they sell gluten free products such as bread made by Christa.
