You’ll find the Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens a few minutes south of Arnprior.

This heritage site in the Upper Ottawa Valley contains 11 themed gardens on an eight-acre site. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds with a wonderful view of the adjacent lake.

Tour the heritage buildings and log schoolhouse, most of which date back to the early 1800s. The museum holds many artifacts from fine china to farming equipment that will transport you back to the time of the early Canadian settlers.
