Whether you’re camping at Bonnechere Provincial Park or coming from nearby Eganville, the Bonnechere Tour is an easy 18-kilometre trail and a great way to spend a couple hours in the outdoors. You’ll cycle down a Forest Access Road and ride past Stephenson Lake and the Bonnechere River for some wonderful views. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife when you pass through the wetland areas. The second half of the trail takes you along a paved road and past a fishing camp.
More information on the trail and its access point is available at the Ontario Trails Council website.
Spending an afternoon biking is a guaranteed way to build up an appetite. When you’re done for the day, head over to Frisco’s Grill in Eganville to refuel with some of the best steak, pasta, seafood, and grilled menu choices that the area has to offer.
